My client is seeking will play a pivotal role in ensuring the
highest standards of quality across manufacturing processes and
product outputs. This position requires an experienced professional
capable of analyzing complex quality issues, driving continuous
improvement initiatives, and ensuring adherence to industry

paramount.DescriptionThey key responsibilities of the Senior
Quality Engineer will be:
- Quality Systems: Lead the development, implementation, and
maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance
with ISO 9001, AS9100, or other applicable standards.
- Root Cause Analysis: Conduct thorough root cause analyses of
product failures or process non-conformances and implement
corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to ensure issues are
effectively resolved.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement
initiatives through Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies to
enhance product quality, reduce defects, and improve process
efficiency.
- Product and Process Validation: Oversee product and process
validation efforts, including First Article Inspections (FAI),
Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), and other quality-related
verification activities.
- Supplier Quality Management: Collaborate with suppliers to
establish quality standards, conduct supplier audits, resolve
quality issues, and ensure the consistent quality of incoming
materials and components.
- Customer Interface: Act as a key point of contact for customers
regarding quality concerns, ensuring effective communication and
resolution of any issues. Ensure timely responses to customer
complaints, returns, or audits.
- Quality Documentation: Develop, review, and maintain quality
documentation, including control plans, quality inspection
procedures, work instructions, and audit reports.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant
industry standards, certifications, and customer requirements,
including participation in internal and external audits.
- Metrics and Reporting: Collect, analyze, and report on key
quality metrics (KPIs), identifying trends and proposing solutions
to improve overall quality performance.
- Leadership and Mentorship: Provide technical leadership,
guidance, and mentorship to junior engineers and quality
technicians, fostering a culture of quality excellence within the
organization.ProfileThe successful Senior Quality Engineer will
have the following:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical,
Industrial, or related field) or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in quality
engineering within a manufacturing or industrial environment, with
preference for experience in aerospace, defense, or oil & gas
industries.
- Certifications: ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six
Sigma Green/Black Belt certification preferred.
- Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of quality management systems (QMS),
including ISO 9001, AS9100, and/or relevant industry-specific
standards.
- Proficient in root cause analysis methodologies such as 8D,
5-Why, or Fishbone Diagrams.
- Experience with advanced quality tools such as FMEA, SPC,
control plans, and PPAP.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the
ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in quality software and statistical tools (e.g.,
